The street becomes the room.
Every summer the ensemble takes the music back to where it started: the stoop. Free, unticketed, and open to the block — maqam and groove meeting whoever happens to be walking by.
Stoop Sessions is community-rooted by design, and each season closes with a block party co-produced with neighborhood partners.
